On the recent road trip to Victoria, one of the road we plan to go was across Port Phillip Bay by ferry to the Geelong and then further across the Great Ocean Road. My sister was very tired after four hours or so of driving from Sale. So the plan was get some cheap accommodation next the bay. 

Unfortunately when I called up all the caravan parks around the Mornington Peninsula all were book out. I wish I could stay for the sunset and sunrise the next day before leaving this magnificent location. But you cannot have every thing in your favour and you want to have a reason to go back. It keeps you going and inspire you to go further in your photography.

Mornington Peninsula is a great location for food and wine as well. It is a hot spot for food and wine enthusiasts. I\’m not into food and wine but if you were then it a great holiday around the Mornington Peninsula. And a tip for if you want a cheap accommodation around Mornington Peninsula, go around off-peak season. Victorian loves their sun and when they have a chance to go outdoor they will. So go around off-peak, I say Spring and Autumn season, Winter is too cold and Summer the Melbournian come out to play, so the place is pack.
