I have been photographed on the other side of the Hawkesbury river to capture the Lion Island. It was a cloudy day and I didn\’t come out with the photos that I dreamt of.
One obstacle to that is the Ku-ring-gai National Park close it gate pretty early. So catching the sunrise or sunset is a challenge for a landscape photographer.
For this location, you need to pay closer attention otherwise you miss the turn on to it. It is called \”Mount Ettalong Lookout\”. A young couples favourite spot to hang out. From there you have to hike for another 300 metre to get to this location. You be rewarded with the most spectacular view for you trouble.
The beach in the photo is called \”Pearl Beach\” and I agree with the name. The high view of the beach is breath taking. You can see the drama in the waves and all the splendid of nature. I was marvel of the endless motion of the waves. It seems to have a rhythmic movements. Nothing beat the sound of nature. Enjoy!
