Mount Wilson Garden, Blue Mountains NSW Australia 2013

I\’m heading to Mount Wilson this year for another day of shooting the great gardens around there. There\’s free stuff as well but to enjoy the whole Autumn season you need to visit some of the gardens where people have poured their heart and soul into it. And it costs you a few gold coins. I think it worth every cents.

I usually like to go on my own and make the decision to stay or to leave more easily. There\’s people organise photo-walk or photo excursion and that\’s alright. But for truly enjoy the experience of nature you have to be there by yourself. It is a spiritual escape as well if you like. Look at nature and analysis your own life. See the mountains and realize how insignificant all of  us are. And see the changes in season to teach us the impermanent of things.

There are wars, diseases and injustice in the world but that the nature of the world we live in. We inherited this world so we cannot complaint, but are we doing anything to make it better for the generations to come? Let\’s start with what ever we put into our mouth. What food sources destroy our natural habitat? It\’s not vegetarian and fruitarian that\’s for sure.  And if you decide today what you put into your mouth it might help you with your health as well. That\’s a bonus isn\’t it?

I'm a freelance makeup artist from Sydney, Australia. If you hang around creative people long enough you well get the bug to create as well. So now I am into photography, timelapse photography and maybe video/film later.
