A wonderful event for to celebrate the indigenous community in Sydney. A great day out to learn about Koori arts, music, customs and foods. The name for this two days festival is \”Home Ground\”, very appropriately I think.
The foreground of the Opera House transformed into a dance pit for the dancers. I was wondering what it\’s like on the same spot that the Opera House is on now. There\’s no photograph in those days. In Melbourne there\’s many painting of the old Melbourne but not in Sydney unfortunately.
One stand out performance for me was the young singer/song writer. She was amazing. Another superstar in the making I think.
