Hmong Villager, Chiangmai Thailand 2017

When I was planning my trip to SE Asia one of the people that I wanted to photograph was the minority mountain people. This was a Hmong villagers, she was doing some traditional textile. It was fascinating that some people still do the same textile techniques in our modern machinery.

Also this was the village that used to grow poppies but the late Thai King has influences the villagers and they have abolished their practices. Nowadays tourism is their source of income. The textile is very unique in the region and it\’s a great souvenir for your memory.

I'm a freelance makeup artist from Sydney, Australia. If you hang around creative people long enough you well get the bug to create as well. So now I am into photography, timelapse photography and maybe video/film later.
