I had the original Rode already but the upgrade is not worth it for me and the majority of you out there. This is just my 2 cents worth to the discussion.
Are you a Youtuber or content creator that operate as Hans Solo? Rode offers a great product compared to the original and it competitors right now in the consumer wireless microphone system.
With two transmitters it just has everyone buzzing in the Youtube world with every reviews coming out left right and centre of all the major camera and gear review channel. It still has it flaws as it still in the alpha phrase of product released. So expect a few bugs now and then with this product.
I though it has the new raw audio 32bit CAPTURED mode included in this new released but unfortunately it just a marketing gimmick from Rode to include the 32bit float as an export only. So big feature that really could makes the Rode a must buy now product is missing. Sorry Rode you cannot have my business with this product.
I’m a Hans Solo and so many out you out are in similar “Starship of Content Creation Enterprises” that our only communication is with ourselves and animal (Chewbacca). So no need to have two microphones/transmitters.
However when Princess Leila comes along which in my case a very rare chance that could happen. Like 0.01% chance Princess Leila comes into my “Starship of Content Creation Enterprises” then I’m still communicate with Rode Wireless Go Original.
