Choosing a Panasonic Lumix or an Olympus OMD is a very personal choice. My advise to to is go to your retailer and hold both cameras in your hand first and get the feel for the camera.
You know the saying about the saying that “if you murdered someone you only got 30 years prison term but marry someone and you got a sentenced for life”. Joking aside choosing a camera is not that dramatic but worth noting the above joke.
Yes you probably marry your camera system for life right? Not necessary if you choosing a M43 system. Since the M43 system has two big brands sharing the same M43 system lens mount. I am not just marry someone for life.
I am a polygamist. Yes I have two wives. Some Christians don’t like that idea right but we are talking about camera so you have to be light heart about it and have fun reading what I have to say.
You see if one wife(Lumix) is not treating me wisely then I moved on the second wife (OMD) and vice versa and I can still have all the lens that I have invested over the years. So no divorce settlement and the pain of such process. I am an open polygamist and proud of it.
Right now Lumix is very good to me but once she’s not behaving then I move on to the Mistress down the road. It’s an very open relationship from the beginning and all parties involved accepted happily. Heaven of Earth with M43.
