How To Create In Camera Time Lapse Video With Any 4K Panasonic Lumix Cameras || Ft. Panasonic GH4

In this post I’ll share my process of making time lapse video in camera. Make sure your camera frequency settings is NOT in 24Htz. You could not make time lapse video with this settings on. Change to other settings and you good to go. Now follow me in in this process.

Step 1: Shoot the time lapse sequence. That’s obvious right? You need some input. What my “On location with the time lapse nuts” where I show you in the field my settings of shooting time lapse.

Step 2: After making the sequence. The camera will ask you if you want to make the time lapse now? Yes if you want to and make the time lapse or you could do it later in the play back menu. Either way you could do it. And DO NOT format your SD card other wise there’s nothing to make the time lapse video. Also leave enough room in your SD card for the time lapse video.

Step 3: Select which sequence you want the camera to make the time lapse video. Select it then choose the settings for your time lapse video. This is where you want to footage to be in 4k or HD 1080p.

Select which sequence you want then Press SET.

Step 4. Select Your Frame Rate. Depends where you live the frame rate selections could be different. For me 25fps is good for me.

Step 5: Select sequence settings. Normal is play forward and Reverse is play backward. You could repeat the steps and have one play forward one play backward.

Step 6: Select OK and a screen will pop up showing how long it going to takes to make the video in camera. This depends on your sequence. Yes to proceed and you have your time lapse video after the allocate time in the pop up window.

Step 7: Repeat the process from step 2 to step 6 and you have another time lapse video. MAKE sure you have enough memory on your SD card to do this process. If you shoot to the max of your SD card, unfortunately you have to delete some of the photos in camera before you could do this process. BUT please backup first before you delete any thing. Check out the video below for the time lapse I make at the end of the video.
